Chris Innes Goes Home, And We Have . . . ?

By: Dave Martinez | April 14th, 2008

He impressed the coaching staff in his short stay, but perhaps being a very large pond away from home couldn’t be compensated for.

Big Apple Soccer reports that Chris Innes is heading back to Scotland, perhaps in search of more familiar pastures.

And where does that leave us?

Well, with Jeff Parke coming in after his red card suspension, one would be wise to think that stability will return with him as well. We can ill afford losing our main and only true centerback. And it doesnt help that Eric Brunner is injured for quite some time. Depth at that particular position is very thin. Innes leaving makes it thinner.

    cornercorner

    the news keeps getting better.

Im not trying to freak out over a single loss but this team seems just as desperate as ever for a few key pieces

like any defenders of worth and a proper playmaker in the midfield

Its sad that Angel has to shoulder so much of a load and when Parke goes out we are co clearly pathetic in the defensive end.

    I hope Im overreacting
