Game Preview: Expansion Squad v. B Squad?
By: Dave Martinez | April 26th, 2008
Ive already gone through the Bulls injury problems, which were simply compounded on by the loss of Echeverry.
We’ve even recounted the woe and heartache of a tie against a short handed, over played squad.
A weeks gone by, and somehow, I can’t seem to find the silver lining to this all.
The Bulls take on the expansion San Jose Earthquakes in a rematch of the Carolina Cup Challenge (San Jose beat New York in convincing fashion, 1-0).
Though one team is an expansion squad, and expected to play poorly, the Bulls are a stacked squad with injuries that may bring their play down a notch.
Here is my Bulls projected lineup:
=======Altidore====Wolyniec=======
Van Den Bergh==Magee=======Sassano
====Stammler========Reyna======
===Goldthwaite==Parke===Leitch===
==========Conway==============
That is 2 players whom are making their first start of the season, one rookie, and a withdrawn Reyna. Could it be enough to beat San Jose, a winner last week against Colorado? We shall see.
Prediction : Bulls 2 - 1 SJ

Rod, that has to be the most nonchalant, straight to the point post ever.
5 stars.
