

POLL: KITS – Names Or No Names?
By: Dave Martinez | March 3rd, 2010Did anyone else notice that the Red Bulls have been playing the entire offseason without their names on the back of their kits? I did. And I know it is a preseason look that will be ditched once the start of the season commences, but I have to tell you – I really like it! It is a classic, crisp style that franchises employ from all types of sport flagships throughout the world. It is the standard in international football, meant to show deference to the represented nation and not the players. In American culture, teams like the Yankees do it for the same reason – the logo on your chest is more important than the name on your back.
Now, I know that their names will be there at the start of the season no matter what happens. And though it is a moot point, I was wondering – would you prefer kits with a name or just a number on the back?
