Like an older Georgetown, DC., I am an Architect so I suggest you walk that area, little shops and bars, thats the chick commentary. Still have my fingers crossed for my dynamic forward!! There are 6 of them around the boston-cambridge-brookline area. And my advice for a sunny afternoon would be to pick up some cannolis at Mike's Pastry on Hanover street in the North (or Modern Pastry across the street, though i prefer mike's) and enjoy them in the Christopher Columbus park, which may be my favorite part of the city. Absolute best sandwiches (I like hot, but they have cold selections too, as well as different pasta dishes, etc). And for dessert, Mike's Pastries is right around the corner.
