Osorio promise #1 of 2 Western Hemispherically Oriented signings?

Oscar Etchevarry is now a Red Bull. For reals.

The Atletico Nacional vet has been with the Bulls most of the preseason, which answers the question “When will our signings have time to gel with their teammates?” He is 31 years old, has played competitively with Nacional, winning three championships in the process, and has also been a winner with Venezuelan side Caracas FC and Colombian B-side Deportivo Pasto.

My question is – how will he be used? Will he be backing Angel and Altidore along with Wolyniec? Or will they get daring and try him at CAM? History shows he isn’s a scorching goal scorer – but one must wonder how much of a distributor he could be.

So, the wait begins for Western Hemisphere signing #2, and our European based prospect.
