4-0 Again?! This Has Gone On Long Enough.

Once I saw that lineup, and that dreaded formation, my instinct was simple; change the channel. You know what the outcome is going to be when a team takes to the road in a naturally defensive and impotent position. Especially this team.
But I didn’t change it. Instead, I watched. And watched. And watched. Because that is what you naturally do with a train wreck of these comedic proportions. And because I’ve had writers block all week, trying to find something of interest to bring to you amidst the worst, most embarassing season I can recall. Thank you Colorado.
The “Real Madrid” Rapids handed out yet another magnificent 4-0 beating to the Bulls. I won’t insult you with an analysis.
It is a shame really; after 2008 and the Cinderella run, Bulls fans looked towards 2009 as a serious contender. The late season and offseason signings formed a formidable team on paper. The coach seemed so focused, and the team, full of promise.
With so much to look forward to, it is a wonder where people place their hopes now. Lord knows the W Connection isn’t just going to roll over and give this team a glimmer of hope. The season is over before August has even rolled around. Players are undisciplined, and playing injured. Seriously. What are you watching for? At least I have an excuse . . .
I said way back on June 8th that Osorio has to go. I believe I was actually one of the first. If 12 straight winless games hasn’t proven my point, I don’t know what will.
More thoughts on Monday.

Me and most of my friends have just stopped caring about MLS because of New York’s poor form.
The greatest city in the nation should have the greatest team, and yet we have to settle for this?

WTF.. how this idiot still has a job????? this is fucking insane… and the worst is that we were losing 4-0 and they were anouncing season tickets for 2010.. who wants to see this fucking team… with a clown like a coach… I already send my deposit for 2010. but if Osorio is still the coach in 2010 I rather lose my $50

Nah, Anderson has been clammoring since last year about it. Tubby is a good lad. What was meant to be said, which I thought was pretty clear, was that on a media forum like this, I am definitely one of the first to go out on that public limb. It’s tough to criticize JCO since he is a pretty ok guy, full of good intent and all, so the media has mostly given a pass on him most of the season. The fans have been howling about this for a lot longer than that.
Not my choice of words, but eh, I get the frustrations.

Thought Mike Petke was going to cry half way thru the second half. I know I did.

I was the first to say fire Osorio. Finite. Check all my posts on here. I should be the GM. Anyway, you cannot play one man on top 1) on the road, 2) on a losing team that has only pride to play for 3) with someone who doesn’t have speed like Angel. He’s not fast really at his age. Osorio, Go. I watched most of the Galaxy game anyway..because the outcome for the Bulls is predictable and sad. Agoos, call Austria now to beg for your job.

After the Second DC united loss i said we had to fire this guy, that was back on the 20th of may, we are now almost done with July and this guy is still coaching.
I saw that lineup and knew from the start that the game wasn’t going to end well.
He had angel up top by himself in a position that never works out.
He had kandji on the wing again in a position that he is useless in.
He started richards over zimmerman even though zimmerman had provided us with our only shots and offense.
Neither celadas nor stammler were starting, instead we used our least talented defensive midfielder.
Obster didn’t make the trip because he apparently still needed to get acquanted with the team. But what i don’t get is, didn’t he practice with the team for two weeks only a month ago and isn’t he just as new to the team as krupnik? So why did krupnik make the trip and not obster?
Our best defender was still injured, our coach is a moron, and for the icing on the cake rojas still got the start.Posted from

I hate to admit it but Osorio has to go.. I was a strong supporter of him and have been until the Colorado game but enough is enough.. Instead of getting better we’re just getting so much worse.. Didn’t think we COULD get any worse but 4-0? Wow! Im just looking forward to the Champions League and I hope that Osorio doesnt screw that up as well : /

Almedin how did you remain a “strong supporter” for so long, you must have been his last supporter on earth and now he has lost you to.

I liked his determination and optimism, because he really did want this team to excel.. He kept bringing in new players and he kept tweaking the line-up because he wanted to “crack the code” and finally get that perfect formation.. Unfortunately, that perfect formation is still a mystery and Osorio just can’t do this any longer.. Less than 5 wins is unacceptable with only 9 games left! Im just really hoping we an still make it in the Champions League.. Our last hope to have SOME kind of trophy..

JCO was on Marcelo Balboa’s radio show on Thursday and if anyone heard it you’ll understand why we’re in this situation. He kept talking about defending and not giving up goals at the end of the halves. Never did he mention that we’ve been shut out of 11 games and that in 17 games we’ve scored 1 or no goals. He doesn’t get that to win you need to score more then the other team. Shit!

First of all. I do agree the JCO needs to go. I’ve only been following the Redbulls for two seasons now so I don’t know much about the MLS or the Metrostars/Redbulls yet but since I live in NYC and Love to watch and go to football games I support this team even though they suck so far.
My question to you all is who should be the next coach. Is there a realistic option out there that will be able to build a winning team in New York/New Jersey.Posted from

ammann should take the place of agoos or better yet, the place of stover. Stover should be given a job soley as stadium manager, so that he has nothing to do with the soccer side of business becuase let’s face it he doesn’t know anything about soccer. Mike Ammann is an honest hard working guy, he loves the team and he said that he has many plans to make this team better. I would like richie williams to replace osorio, becuase he knows the league and it’s restrictions.
