By the way, Patrick Vieira keeps talking about coming to the US.

"If at the end of my contract I have an attractive offer from a club in Europe with a tempting challenge, that could be interesting for me.

"But what I want to do today is to stop at the end of the season and go and try a new experience: why not the United States?

"I also think that I maybe no longer want to play at the highest level. What interests me could really be a life experience, and to go and discover football in the United States - if I was to continue playing."

But Vieira promised one more season at the highest level: "I hope to make the World Cup and after we'll see how it pans out. What's certain is that if tomorrow you receive a phone call from Barcelona, you no longer ask yourself the same questions."

yeah, you and me both. A call from Barca tomorrow changes things here too.

Anyway he might be ideal for us. Dont you think?

Next game: Top: Angel/Woly Middle: Celades/Stammler Wide: Richards/Mac Back Four: Hall/Petke/Boyens & Johnson. Bring Zimmerman on as sub for Woly, push Richards up. Oebster for Mac as 2nd sub and Ubi for Stammler as 3rd sub.

boynes looked good? on what planet? The guy is potentially the most dangerous person in the game, from the RB perspective. He should have his salary payed by our opponents. The man is a walking own goal, hes lost, confused and weak. He makes insane fouls and at any moment could totally lose his marker. How anyone could defend him is beyond me.

Rojas deserves to be flogged for his play as of late. He shouldnt even be on the pitch. Celades or Zimmerman has to take his place.

And people are praising Richards because he scored but the truth of the matter is that both of his runs were passing opportunities that he missed in order to take a harder and more selfish shot.

this is what happens to a bad team. players are out for self and Richards is a prime example of this. I happen to like the kid and think he has solid potential still, if coached and used correctly. But watching him go 1 v 3 when he had wolly wide open next to him and then again when he went 1 v 2 with Ubi wide open makes me want to vomit.

Richards isnt Angel or Kandji. He needs to pass when players are open. In fact Kandji is a great example of this even though hes a vastly superior striker to Richards hes ready and willing to pass early and often.

Richards has speed and skill but lacks what so many of our metros lack - football IQ.

Very happy for the performance of the team. Osorio was the problem like many fans said months ago.

Coundul was good but I rather put cepero.

Jhonson has a ok game he has to improve the passing but not bad at all overall

Boyens was very good playing hard 100 of the time. The defense look better this couple of games.

Petke doing what it is necessary playing hard.. He is a leader on the field.

Borman this guy deserve a special mention.. He is small but he fights like a maniac every ball..he has to be in the lineup..

Strammer not a stellar game but not a bad neither.

Rojas.. I do not what happened to this guy I saw him playing in venezuela years ago and he was good. Now he looks lost on the field.

Ubi good but he has to take a second and think what he is going to do with the ball. I like that he goes forward..

Richard finally he is running with the ball making some damage. Good!! This is the player we need

Angel doing what he knows.. The defense of the crew cover him well during the whole game

Woly. Like wverybody said he is underated.. But after the 75 min he was done.

Big mac.. Good.. Very good.. Is he is healthy, he should start.

Sassano.. Ok

First of all Boyens was excellent on D. Get off his ass. That diving header to clear that goal was great. Woly is super underrated. The guy can finish with both feet and always puts himself in a position to score. He should have been starting all season long. Guys that I'd like to NOT see next season are: Goldthwaite, Rojas and Pacheco. I wonder what the team could do with Oebster and Zimmerman on the wings?

great to see the boys winning and against a quality opponent. Rojas has to go. Hes beyond useless.

Is there a worse player in professional sports than Boynes? Honestly!

Crew manager Bobby W said he thought the Massive played well. not that i agree, but Hesmer as NOT in goal. (that was our stellar back-up who i believe got scored on by NY's 'KEEPER last year) plus, we didn't start GBS, Rogers, Moreno or O'Rourke. Hejduk just returned from an injury too. What you saw was the Massive's B-Team hack it out with a team that is playing for their contracts next year. The only line that was all starters was our back line, who were all up top for the corner that NY countered and scored on.

excuses and whining aside, kudos to NY for playing hard for 90 minutes and getting a deserved countering goal.

I would start Mac again wide left, get Celades back in the middle. Coach is doing a good job so far. It was so simple, play the same formation every game = consistencies and stop tweaking the line up everygame. Also, see how much better the D was without Golthwaite there..the guy plays super hard, but ...but..he needs to be moved on to improve the D for next year.
