Simple as that. It looks like Becks and Donovan have taken the kid under their wing and showing him what it takes to be a striker. Add a little Gullitt influence (which is a bunch of screaming and yelling from what I hear) and you have a player that was reaching his potential. A knock on Bruce Arena was that, after years if playing established players, he did not emphasis the further education of younger players - Harkes would usually handle that. You are on top of things, as always good work. I think the immediate chemistry/ impact is important, to find a short term fix.
