as long as we are on a totally different subject ….

does any one have any recommendations for good soccer shops in NYC?

there used to be a great on on 11th and 1st but it closed and apparently there was curva nord on 86th, which also closed. I heard about VC Tutto Calcio in Brooklyn but they might be closed too.

With the major international action we have in this town Id think there’d be a solid place to purchase gear!
there used to be some in the west 20s and 30s but I dont remember where.

any help anyone?

I’m certainly not saying that Red Bull aren’t favored in this game, as most home taems are in this league. I’m just saying that I hope your players come out a little over confident. They way we have played on the road this year we need any edge we can get.

Sorry to offend Jester, just calling a spade a spade is all. In the position RB is in (or the position they THINK they are in), it is imperative to take down opponents like the Rapids who SHOULD present no danger. Thats what defines championship teams – winning the games you should win. And they should win this one.

Hopefully your players also consider Colorado to be “lowely opposition”. Although Chicago and New England may disagree. I do beleive both of them are ahead of you in the current standings, and neither had a very good time against us recently!
