NLR – he was introduced in the LA game as a last minute sub, and his inability to acclimate himself with his surroundings was blamed for that tying goal. Its been an uphill battle ever since (in the eyes of some). Is it right? Not really. I like the bite he has to his game. And another thing to the small but vocal group of haters is that he is paid more than Rojas or Cichero. Personally? I like his play. Some say that for the same money, we could have Dema Kovalenko. I love Dema, but Pietra, in my opinion, hasnt even begun to show us what he can bring to the table.

wait, what? People are down on Pietravallo? How is this possible? The guy is exactly what NY needs not only as a team but as a city trying to embrace a ‘new’ sport.

attitude, toughness, blue collar mentality, never back down near thuggery.

Whats not to like?

Honestly Im not sure I can conceive of anything about him that people would not be into.

Please elaborate, please educate me!

Love the Gattuso reference! Not sure why metro/bulls fans dont always understand the So. American style and attitude of play, thats too bad as its great…Tick, tick, tick…Welp, time and money are catching us! I have my fingers crossed for 2 forwards, any from your post for youth, and rotating in a veteran, preferably my dynamic Colombian for strength. We shall see if JCO continues to be a wizard of time, money, and roster space! Yikes, should I get my rosary?

NLR – dont know if you have heard but alot of Bulls fans dont like him already, which is a shame. Between him and Cichero, there is a bite and aggression this team has sorely needed all year.

Hey Mike – I am with you. Freeman is a player I like alot on this team, but lets face it – he is best used in the 4-4-2 back wing. His D is excellent, his crosses always a thread. Freeman > Wynne. Shame he is done with em.

great to see you back and Im curious about the mystery!

the striker search is crucial especially since it looks like we are doomed to lose Angel this offseason. Perhaps a change of our luck and a meaningful trip to the playoffs will change our fortunes with him.

I might as well mention now how pleased I am with the addition of Pietravallo!!!

This is exactly the kind of player Ive been waiting for. I was very sad to lose Vide for some of the same reasons.

that midfield is crucial IMO and Pietravallo finally brings the kind of aggressiveness and toughness we need to win and keep balls in the midfield and to disrupt opponents midfield intentions.

It all begins for us there on offense and begins there for us on defense. Finally a player who can wreak havoc there on the opposition. Our little version of Gattuso
