A consumate professional and gifted player who was clearly thinking on a different level to most of the more run of the mill players he played with through out his Villa Career. I have no doubt that had he moved to a top club in his prime, he would have gone on to achieve great things. However, by the way we are not relegation haunted now, and are in fact hoping for a top 7 finish and possible European football next year (but it is a bit of a long shot) Villa fans are trying to press for a Villa v Red Bulls friendly either in New York or Birmingham at some point! Angel will be a huge hit. JPA is technically excellent, has vision and is a great header of the ball. His only flaw is his pace. He may not be the quickest in Premiership terms but he's not exactly walking pace. As a professional, everything he has said and done since arriving at Villa from River Plate has been top class and even though he's fallen out of favour (since the restructuring started under Randy Lerner) he's still a favourite of the fans. Villa are a side that are in transition and JPA is more a victim of circumstance than anything else. I predict he'll be a hit at the Red Bulls and will always give 100%.
