Im conflicted I guess.

Last year our defense was so bad that I guess a defensive midfielder should be a major priority and defenders are always my preference

however with the goal scorers we have and the leagues tendency towards making calls that favor offensive play and star power I think we really need to get someone who can provide chances – especially in counterattack but also via dead ball situations – for Angel and Joze.

These two guys need some help but with the right mix they could be seen as the most potent offense in the league.

I liked Dema, but really he wasn’t much of a passer or any sort of an offensive threat at D-Mid. I still think we’re gonna end up with Marmol.

Especially in a 3-5-2. But, what Osorio is saying is that Magee and Reyna are so competent, that signing a CAM is a moot point.

Some would disagree. others may be shocked (considering we thought THAT was a target all offseason).

Maybe Osorio saw something in Magee/Reyna that we didnt. After all, he is constantly there, he knows best.

We shall see.
