Our favorite bearded wonder is bringing his merry little band to Giants Stadium! (Hey, Lalas always said he would bring a World Class Team to New York? Am I right? Fellas?)

And it looks like the former English captain and Spice Rack owner will be joining them! And from the looks of it, dont expect an entrance at the 78th minute . . . .

WITH A NEARLY SOLD OUT, YES, SOLD OUT GIANTS STADIUM CROWD EXPECTED, Alexei Lalas has FINALLY contributed to something good for the New York franchise!

Those have to be the most exciting words we as Red Bull fans have ever heard come out of Lalas mouth! Ever!

This is the beginning - the beginning of the 2nd relaunch of our beloved franchise (or is it the 51371751th?).

With a sold out crowd, WE need to steal that spotlight AWAY from the Galaxy. 70,000 plus will be there to make their one and only judgment of the sport of Soccer.

Last we played Barcelona, we got schooled, badly. It was in front of a HUGE crowd at Giants Stadium, and our boys were allowed to go out there and just PLAY. IN DOING SO, people left that drubbing saying Wow, those kids (because any american thinks that our league is just a bunch of college kids) can really play! They entertained the fans, in a game everyone was hoping for. Wide open, without a care, just for fun, and if we scored, we celebrated like animals. It was fun soccer to watch!

The same message has to be sent here. Mr. Arena, open up this game! Prepare for it NOW! Lets go out there, and not only show the 70,000 plus in attendance, but the MILLIONS watching at home, that our game, THE RBNY GAME, can be enjoyable, fun, and that there are characters in OUR team that can match and rival that of Mr. Beckhams star.
