i saw him after the Crew v Red Bulls match and he was doing light jogs. as a crazy Crew fan i made a reference enjoy the real grass cuz it’s the last time you will see it as a keeper. now look he’s gone.

I really hope we see 2 more positions open up today. With Obster on the horizon and a couple of academy players that sound like they’re getting some good attention from the FO I think they would do well to let go a couple of players who are getting a lot more money than they are worth on the field for our team.

I think eventually Bouna will get the start over Cepero. Cepero has been good this season but the fact is that goalkeepers tend to get better with experience. Bouna has several more years playing in MLS than Cepero and he has international experience which is invaluable. In his defense, Cepero has seen a lot of shots in the last 12 months and has shown that he can play. But ultimately, Bouna should start over Cepero in most games but I also think we will see the 2 of them share the position through the rest of the season.

Oh, I love Bouna! Ever since he stepped up in African Cup of Nations after the starting keeper, Tony Sylva, got suspended for breaking curfew, Bouna’s been on my favorites list. Do you think he’ll start over Cepero?

Good move, some idiots on soccerbyives think this was what the FO did to fix our problems when that isn’t the case at all. We need to improve at virtually every position and this acquisition in my eyes is an improvement at the goal keeper position. I would like to see cepero hold onto his starting spot at least until he does something to screw it up. For me cepero is virtually as good as bouna and while both are athletic and erratic he is still much younger. I’m still not a happy supporter yet though, for me to be happy i would need to see khano, boyens, and richards gone, and hopefully an academy player or two to replace them. I’m not going to say that i would like agoos or osorio gone, because i realize now that if it hasn’t happend yet it probibly won’t happen at least until the end of the season so why bother to get my hopes up.

I keep checking all the blogs waiting for similar news about Khano. We only have one more day, but if I were the RB organization I would not put the faithful fans through the ordeal of waiting another day and do the announcement today.
