I cant take it out on Osorio either - with the pieces he has. But like I said in the trimester review - he could have done much more on the player acquisition front.

And of course its that horrible field - Reyna, a person with a history of health issues, is playing in his own personal hell hole right now due to field turf. If there was more cash to throw around, i would suggest the Sod again. Even if it does lift up, get old fast, and die.

Osorio scouted Argentina recently - and thats a good move. Argies love trends, and there is no greater trend lately than going to play soccer in the US. Hopefully something comes to fruition.

Ive sorta given up on this season already in the sense that I doubt that we can expect a playoff berth. But there should be some major improvements to the team if we can see the kind of effort from them every night under Osorio that we saw the other night.

that said using the money alloted us by our very generous allowance of Jozy's jumping ship and making MLS rich should help. Also, and not to put it all on him but, the end of Renya as a player exception {or whatever thats called} opens up another big player spot next year - or does it? Im so confused about the MLS rules.

we need to go after more quality internationals. You'd think even if the MLS pays garbage they'd be into playing in the US. Its not Europe but its a nice step up from some Caribbean, South American and African nations.

Lastly, and I know im too verbal here, the comments during the game about all the players suffering the same injury from playing on this horrible turf is amazing. I dont know why I didnt connect the dots but jumping and running on green concrete has to be brutal on your back. Lets hope next years stadium adds to our players resistance to injury.

ps. I think Osorio is doing a solid job with what he has

Wow - a celebrity post! Sorta . . . .

NLR - though I may have skimped past really looking into this game much, they did show effort at times. But we can continue to expect these types of results until some more signings are announced.

well as horrific as that was, and the score makes me shudder, the rbs actually played very well. We played at an effort and intensity level above our skill level and I for one can respect that.

am I alone in thinking that our offense is smoother without renya?

am I alone in thinking that our defense is one step forward and two steps back? Everytime the make an amazing play they give up an obvious goal the next play.

oh, but lets be honest here. DC took full advantage of every lapse we had and got goals every time. thats a winning teams attitude. we had plenty of chances to keep things competitive but mental lapses were too common and DC was too professional.

ps fuck emilio
