CONSTRUCTION ON NEW STADIUM BEGINS NEXT WEEK

By: Dave Martinez | November 30th, 2007

We are 100% owners, the plans have changed, and the wheels are back in motion - Red Bull Park will once again be the center piece of the Harrison revitilization project (dont you have to be VITALIZED first in order to get REVITALIZED?!?!).

The original design called for 20,000 seats, and more luxury boxes. RBNY has changed that plan to 25,000 seats and less luxury boxes (a big improvement in my opinion - from 50 to 30). Also, the stage idea was scrapped, replaced by seating, and all seats will be covered under a translucent open stadium cover. Cant wait.

In celebration, check out these great pics from nj.com! And dream big! After all, its the offseason!
