Photos from the ESPNZone Event
By: Dave Martinez | April 7th, 2008Hey guys and gals,
As I prepare the David Roth interview, here are some photos from the ESPNZone Event for you to enjoy . . . .

Well, there were a bunch of people that ran around the terrace of the ESPNZones third floor waiting for autographs . . .

. . . and obviously, Brunner was not there. But David Roth was!

The boys did their part in signing autographs for the fans . . .

. . . and ESC WAS IN THE HOUSE!

Roth and Jozy were extremely generous with their time, even playing games in the ESPN Interactive Zone with fans after the signing (there is a good argument that Roth was the better shooter by the way).
Overall, it was a fun time. Bulls management should give themselves a nice pat on the back. Nice turnout, great energy, and ultimately, a great way to involve fans just before our season kicks off. Cheers to that!

Yea - you know catherine, I really have to remind myself that theoffside is a global platform where people just dont know ESPNZone is the theme restaurant in NY.

Sounds like it was fun. Too bad I live 1 1/2 hours away from there.

JG! Good to have ya back.
Invest in a car myself. or get yourself on the road to a license. Then you’ll be straight . . .
until you get into Manhattan and realize you have to pay tolls and parking fees . . . which will turn a free event into a $75 affair . . .

VERY perceptive.
Fact is, I had a photog that cancelled on me last minute, so i had to do all the photo shooting.
Would have liked something, but nothing. Maybe next time. Whenever the Jozy interview may happen.
btw - you got filtered again - different comp?

yeah well I’ve never been to New York, except the Bronx, and it’s nto as bad as everyone makes it sound! lol I’m nto exactly a world traveler. I’ve been around the US and Mexico, but that’s it. (Not any of that Cancun business it’s all Puebla! my cholula home brothas heres a high five!)

The insanely stupid gangster rap culture portrays The Bronx as some bad place when it really isn’t. I live in the Bronx and it is fine. I don’t live in the “bad parts” but even they aren’t bad.

The Bronx is awesome.
My experience is always telling people “QUEENS IS NOT HOW ITS PORTRAYED IN COMING TO AMERICA!!!” I dont know what the deal with that movie is, but it definitely bought about some VAST misconceptions world wide on my little borough!

The only thing I know about Queens is…nothing, but I do have a friend who lives on Courtlandt Manor. I’ve never even heard of that movie, then again, when it comes to films I might as well live in a cave…

“Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) is pushed to have an arranged marriage by the laws of his country Zamunda. But, he has other plans, to find his soul mate. So, his father allows him and his friend “babysitter” Simi (Arsenio Hall) to set out to New York to find Prince Akeem a wife.” –imdb.com
Are you kidding me…??? that is the dumbest plotline I have ever heard…but maybe I’ll netflix it…

“CL” (I think I like Catherine better)- IMDB isnt known for its ability to sell a movie. Believe me - there are laughs all over that movie. Its Classic.
And Berger never lies.

Call me Catherine then, I don’t really care…I’ve always hated my name, that’s why I added my Confirmation name, Lucia.
Oh and if Berger never lies then “Coming to America” is definitely next on my list.
