Dear Santa (My Red Bull Wish List)

Dear Santa,

I have been a very good blogger this year. Just ask NLR, Martha in Miami, cg, BMatt or any one of my other readers!

I have interviewed players, done game reports, covered every event imaginable from a Barcelona scrimmage to the Red Bulls Iron Chef! I think I am a bit deserving.

So here is my list. I hope you can fit it into your sack this year. And I apologize to Rudolph and the gang if the packages are a bit hefty.

#1 – Bring Back Dave Van Den Bergh

I always like to have a dutch during Christmas . . . and what better way to celebrate than with a left footed one! He is very well deserving Big Guy, and I am sure he has been a good boy as well. Get him a raise, and put him under our teams Christmas Tree.

#2 – Get the Red Bulls a quality CAM

I know I have been asking for this every offseason since Amado left town. But it doesn’t hurt to ask, right?

#3 – CONCACAF Champions league title too much to ask for?

I hope not!

#4 – A major breakdown in DC United

Santa, it doesn’t seem right that these wankers continue to live high on the hog, and the Bulls have their face in the trough. 2008 was definitely a start to you answering my wishes . . . but I have to wish for this one more time, so you get the message.

#5 – An MLS Cup

Don’t tease me like you did this year. I want a Cup!!!!! And not some lame Dora the Explorer one . . . . the MLS Cup. THE REAL ONE.

I hope this isn’t TOO much to ask . . . .
