Yes : Coco isn’t anthing like Maldini.

Coco should be called “Co-coke”.

He’s out of form, has recurring injuries, bad temper, doesn’t like playing anywhere but left back, and his technique is a lot worse than when he was a teen and seen as a hot prospect.

I remember a day long ago, when said Coco was compared to Paolo Maldini…granted he snorted that all away, but I bet Bruce can ween out some talent. I love when Serie A stars come to NY its just natural.

Well I understand, and I guess now that he’s getting older he doesn’t have the fitness to run up and down the flank anymore like he used to. But I still think he would have to take time to get adjusted to playing in the center.

I should mention that he has lost a step. And is a big boy (compared to our boys, he is 6ft tall, and a presence).

He was supposed to be the future Left Back for Italy, which I understand, but that was before the injury and a definite loss of his step. he has no playing time what so ever. He hasnt had an assist in a game in ages . . . and he wasnt signed on by Euro clubs because he just was not fit enough.

That being said, I feel that Central D, regardless of his past, is where the Bulls will be looking to use em. He would make an excellent distributor – especially if, god forbids, Walrus falls back in form and we have conway back in nets.

Think about the now, not what was.

Coco isn’t a central defender though and can’t play center defense at all. He’s a left back that likes to get forward.
