Its Barcelona Day!

By: Dave Martinez | August 6th, 2008

Isnt it just Red Bulls luck that the day Leo Messi is given the green light to rejoin his club team, it would be on the day that he is 1000000 miles from New York City? Of course . . .

Regardless, here we are, mere hours from the showdown.

In the meanwhile, I got a chance to meet and speak to the players of Barcelona, along with Fernando Fiore of Republica Deportiva fame, Chris Sullivan and Max Bretos (funny guys) and Barce President Laporta.

Click here to check out my first hand experience rubbing shoulders with Barcelona!

And I will definitely be at tonights game – so share your section and we can grab some buffalo wings!

Enjoy the read, enjoy the game!

Very excellent read, you are top 3 in soccer/futebol/footie reads! Fernando Fiore is a good friend of ours from Fusion days, hes a gem, love him! So cool you saw 8 goals, Rojas 1st for RB, and Chicero debut...love a kid who fouls in his1st 5 min. and a def. who shoots on goal, first 45 min. w/ his new team, against Barca, no less. Sadly, he took my beloved #17, I was hoping would go to my Colombian! Oh well, happy for you.
