Jorge Rojas takes in a Yankee Game (and so do I!)
By: Dave Martinez | July 10th, 2008
Bobby Abreu and Jorge Rojas. Together.
Had they known I was at the Stadium too, they would have definitely called me over. For sure. Right?
In hard news, they are reporting that, if all goes well, Rojas should be training with the team next week, and is aiming at a Los Angeles debut.
Venezuela is loving it.
About the Yankees game: I get these box seats, beneath the top tier, away from the heat (from a great client), where a waiter/waitress takes your order at your seat. A bunch of Bud Lights, a pork sandwich, buffalo wings and UTZ chips completed what was an awesome day for baseball (10th inning win from Bobby Abreu . . . Rojas is good luck).
It should be noted; I haven’t been to many baseball games this year. Maybe 4 max. And considering the pace the Bulls have been playing, I found myself suprised at how slow I found the game to be. I used to love pitchers duels. But I did find myself snoozing through the middle innings. Nothing beats live soccer.
Check out some pics from the game:
