Luis Figo Is Available. Are RBNY Interested?

Reuters UK reports that Luis Figo of Azzurineri (Inter Milan) fame is considering options in the United States and China, nullifying his previous desire to retire.
Here is an excerpt of the article:
The Portugal midfielder announced his retirement from “high level” football after helping Inter Milan to a fourth successive Serie A title last weekend.
“I am still waiting for the calls from outside Europe, from U.S. or Japan,” the 36-year-old told the Chinese sports newspaper Titan Sports.
Figo was extremely servicable in Milans run for another scudetto. There is no question that his expertise would be a desirable commodity to any MLS side.
Sure enough, the Galaxy will most likely be the first to bite. But failure with two seperate European greats may be too much even for Los Angeles to bear. But what about the Red Bulls? As a CAM or striker, Figo would not only be a great draw for the Italian American market, but also a factor on the pitch (at least for one more year anyway).
I haven’t had the opportunity to report on a rumor of this magnitude since the induction of the DP, where every week seemed to include another rumor about another aging star thinking about one last run in the good old States. Would Figo be a viable option for the Bulls? Especially with RB Arena opening next year? Share your thoughts.
