Maradona Has Distracted Me This Morning . . .

By: Dave Martinez | October 29th, 2008

God does not want any of you to read my Mac Kandji interview.

Why?

Because he decided to make MARADONA THE HEAD COACH OF THE ARGENTINE NATIONAL TEAM.

Oh, you thought this Argie would be happy?

To quote Stone Cold, “HELL NO.”

Would I have liked Bianchi as the coach?

“OH HELL YEA!”

Instead, Maradona is going to be the person to bring us up from the depths of inaptitude in the World Cup Qualifier standings?! Is he? Is he really?!

CLICK HERE FOR MY THOUGHTS ON THE ENTIRE SITUATION.

Red Bull news coming later . . . for now, I will just sit and let my acid eat a hole in my stomach.

Horrible.

this is an astounding move for a team that doesnt need a big name splash to get fans excited.

Why make an obvious PR move when its no necessary? Strange indeed.

Diego cant possibly coach this team. not really!!
  • I don't know, man. Whitney Houston still manages to sell out the Garden, even after all these years.

Condolences, bud. Really is a poor decision, at least from an outsider's point of view, but it should make for good theater. Here's hoping the experiment doesn't cost you anything vital, like a World Cup spot.
