Wait, Die Hard 3 was good, but to have in there twice?
And I have to draw the line at Popeye with Robin Williams, that final fight scene was ridiculous.
Also, Rocky 5 didn’t happen, somehow the whole world was on one big acid trip. Somebody put something in the water and if you got a problem with that “My rings outside” but if you “touch me I’ll sue” cause “I didn’t hear no bell”…dammit!

lol Robert – the biggest unexplained mystery of all time – Did Tommy Gunn exist?
And how was his incurable head trama suddenly gone *POOF*
And he suddenly has a restaurant. Ah man.
“SUE ME FOR WHAT?!”
Sorry for the Double Die Hard, but with a Vengeance was awesome. Do I have the Fugitive up there?

Melissa’s right – Primer is pretty awesome. Great sci fi with no special effects. Anyway, the only one of these I haven’t seen is Pope of Greenwich Village, which is due to my strong, almost paralyzing, dislike of Eric Roberts. I hate that he’s playing Maroni in Dark Knight. Great list though. I would substitute Primer (or the Hudsucker Proxy) in for Cocoon. And if we’re talking series, Beneath the Planet of the Apes is the king of the Apes series.

Both Cleopatra Jones movies are fantastic. Probably my favorite of the entire genre.

and my favorite Roger Corman movie is Big Bad Mamma. But WARNING you get a glimpse of William Shatner muff. Also stars a young Tom Skerritt.

Also, Predator, but not Alien OR Aliens? John Hurt getting burst open is one of my first “holy-crap” movie scenes, and Aliens has to be my favorite sci-fi action movie.

Did you know that Joss Whedon wrote the script for Alien 4? And one of the two dudes from City of Lost Children directed it? So much potential turned into one terrible film. Still, I loved the bit where Winona Ryder talks about plugging her modem into the ship’s computer.

TOTALLY – Alien 4 was such a waste of so much talent. Jeunet loves him some Ron Perlman. Me, not so much. As for Whedon – nobody’s perfect.

I am shocked, SHOCKED, that Casablanca is not on here.

… and by Bad News Bears, you mean the Walter Matthau-Tatum O’Neal-Jackie Earl Haley one, right?

Last one…I swear… Victory. War. Sports. Pele. It’s a trifecta.

Bad News Bears! With Matthau! Come on!
Which reminds me . . . I should add the Odd Couple 1 and 2.

Napoleon Dynamite
THE SANDLOT = BEST MOVIE EVER!!Posted from

What else…
Groundhog Day
Willy Wonka
Walk the Line
Princess Bride (worst movie ever)Aside from Sandlot & Walk the Line, I’m sorry, but man, that list is SOOOO not my style. I stopped watching about half the movies on the list.

haha fair enough. not for everyone.
btw – Princess Bride is CLASSIC!
“INCONCEIVABLE”

My family and I are always quoting Wallace Shawn in Princess Bride. “So I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you!”

He is the best character in that entire movie. Love it.

it’s all good. just not my style that’s all. then again I have very distinct taste in films…in case you haven’t noticed (like you couldn’t, lol) I am VERY opinionated, which makes me kind of a jerk sometimes
That said I will have to give Coming to America a try, considering both you and Berger’s raving testimony.
