Osorio and Arena, MLS Scouts!

Wondering what the coaches do during the offseason doldrums? With the preseason already underway for rookies and invitees, Coach Osorio is fitting in some time for scouting. And Bruce Arena decided to tag along!

Well, not exactly. Both coaches, along with Chivas coach Preki, and some DC United scouts, took a trip down to Florida to take in the best of the Honduran Nationals, including MLS players like Ivan Guerrero, training in the US this month.

Coach Osorio seemed the most impressed with the young Hondurans, predicting a World Cup berth for the squad. Yet, he made no indication of any individual performance. According to Osorio, their young players and older over seas talent make Honduras a team to watch. But at no point was a name given.

Quite the poker player.
