good news for RSL as it makes a wildcard spot that much closer(assuming we dont end up in the top 3 in the west)

I definitely have to agree - Dane Richards is the crutch of this team. When in doubt, look for Dane. Its one dimensional, predictable even.

And another thing - Angel really is starting to fade into the background when this teams offense isnt clicking. Dane gets more looks on the ball then Angel!

Things need to change. And Rojas needs to step up as well.

I continue to believe that this team will never make it to the next level without two things

1}Defense of a high caliber. RIght now we panic in the defensive third almost everytime. When in doubt kick it out is not a professional level strategy. And gaffs are one thing but continued goal creating mistakes are beyond my ability to excuse.

2}Playmaking that actually involves making plays. We have probably the best striker in MLS and had another top 5 or so striker in Altidore. Magee, Richards and Kandji are very solid scoring threats. However, and not to put it all on Rojas, we are incapable of making plays for them. Our entire ability to score seems based on booting it forward for Richards to race to, getting lucky off garbage in the opposing third or complete one on one play by Angel.

I remain stunned to the point of despair that Angel is not involved in play unless he goes and gets it himself. I simply cant understand this at all. Hes hardworking as hell, tough as nails and skilled as MLS has but hes invisible most of the game. I can not believe this is a result of either his play or coaching.
