Hey Guys,

Since I am constantly trolling sites for information, and speaking to anyone who wants to hear about MLS, I figured i should share the wealth - be the Drudge of Red Bulls Soccer - with the simple twist of my own commentary.

So here are some headlines from around the US - RBNY related of course . . . .

JEFF AGOOS - HALL OF FAME

Good little tidbit from up North - a great Hall of Fame class, including our own Sporting Director, Jeff Agoos, is up for the running this year. Check out the candidates above. CONGRATS TO YA GOOSE!

PRESEASON SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

What can I say? We are in the Carolina cup . . . again. Maybe we can add SOME KIND OF HARDWARE to our mantel before the season even starts?

I can see it now . . . NEW YORK, CAROLINAS CHAMPION. How low expectations have become . . . .

Jan. 26: Players report

Feb. 3-18: Team trains at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. Practice/scrimmage schedule TBD

Feb. 26-March 6: Team trains in Salzburg, Austria. Practice/scrimmage schedule TBD

March 14-23: Team competes in Carolina Challenge Cup at Blackbaud Stadium in Daniel Island, SC. Red Bulls to face Charleston (March 15 - 6 PM), Toronto FC (March 19 - 6 PM) and San Jose (March 22 - 8:15 PM).

RED BULLS AND THE DRAFT

Jeff Carlyle over at ESPN does a fantastic job in analyzing the league and their prospective draft picks. Take a good read and then tell me . . . were we the only ones who remember the need for a left back, and a left mid? Just wondering. (no offense to the pictured DVB of course . . . )

THE BEST STEALS OF THE DRAFT

When Jozy is pictured as the stories main target, it is a must read for RBNY fans. (unfortunately, he isnt #1)

And when Steve Davis names one of my favorite players in Jeff Parke, then it is a masterpiece. Take a read.
