Okay, RBR has the highlights, which include that craptacular Borman goal celebration about 40 seconds in:

http://redbullsreader.blogspot.com/2008/05/its-raining-out-but-sunny-in-red-bull.html

Also, I didn't notice during the game, but the camera angle on these MSG highlights shows that Dane's pass to JPA was of the NO LOOK variety. How freaking awesome is that?!

Didnt Woly come in for Dane Richards? I didnt get that one much. Borman went out in the 58 th for Mendes I think.

The insane substitution was Boorman for Wolynec. I didn't understand that one at all.

cb - I love Mega. GO MEGA! ANY DAY!

And I was also wondering why Leitch up there? But with the short bench in this league, you have to make ruff choices.

The away victory over the Galaxy was sweeeet, and Borman's celebration was perfect for this game, for this team: overjoyed with disbelief: finally! (finally a road victory!) Go Red Bulls!

Game Moment of Terror: subbing Leitch for Magee. What?! "Captain, we've lost contact with the mothership!" I'd rather see Megaloudis in there any day for an attacking midfielder, or Sinisa for sitting back to hold onto the lead. Mercy on us, Osorio!

Glen - Absolutely right. Keller for Fulham inspires confidence. Conway is gritty and does the same. Cannon is the leader of the SJ back. Cronin? Leaves alot to be desired.

Bri - completely schooled. And I will link the borman celebration whenever it gets online

I'm a Galaxy fan and I have said this from the start or really from the Asian tour pre-season that Cronin is not going to be able to make it work.

Cannon was a great goal keeper and really was the MVP last season for us, but Cronin just does not have the GK instincts. The second goal he started coming out and then stopped which left him in the no-mans land. Had he continued his run out he could have easily had a chance on the ball and deflect the shot. We controlled the majority of play but didn't really make anything happen for us. Two opportunities for NY, resulted in two goals. Thats not a good thing. Until next time :p

Borman's celebration was pure genius, from top to bottom. It was 10 kinds of awesomeness.

JPA's goal was sick, and Richards' pass to set it up was spectacular. I think Jozy could have run at the weak Gals defense a little more, but I also think he did lots of things that helped the team win, even though they'll never show on the scoresheet.

I like to watch LA play (even though I'm an RBNY fan), but have always thought that Cronin looks like a deer in the headlights--just doesn't seem to have the fire and professionalism of a top notch keeper. JPA and Richards completely schooled him on the second goal.
