Riot Squad Continue What ESC Started (The Beckham War)

Which then lead to an official apology from the LA Galaxy.

With LA traveling to Kansas City,the question on everyone’s mind? Will The Cauldron follow up on the anti-Beckham sentiment, and how long will this thing last?

The original ESC “Operation Beckham Bucks” has gained a life of its own.

  I was going to link to the article Mike linked to! Great minds.

  I was thinking last night that this is great for US soccer for two reasons.

  1) It shows the world that US fans have just as much passion as elsewhere, and
  2) It tells other aging superstars that MLS is not a part-time, optional commitment. If you’re going to come here, come and go all out (like Angel, Schelotto and Ljungberg.)

  Oh, and Beckham’s and the Galaxy’s biggest mistake:
  3) Don’t lie to the fans. I think we can forgive anything except being lied to.

  That link said The Riot Squad issued a lifetime ban for that guy. So the same people who were cheering for him to go down there are now banning him? That’s lame.
