Matt – 4-3-1-2 is the all time fav for me. Boca uses it pretty exclusively, so I am accustomed to it, and have seen how fluid it can be with the proper CAM. Join us tonite on the liveblog! You too JG!

. . . and upset for the Red Bulls? I figure we are the underdogs in this one.

But back to the 4-3-3 . .. . .. . I love the 4-3-3. And MLS teams are so hesitant to use it. But if we played Kandji central and a bit closer to goal, switch Angel and Magee and put them a tad behind kandji, in a middle bumrush. It can work but it won’t happen.

btw – as far as Ubi goes, who would you sit? Not that easy . . .

Hey Dave, I like your 2nd lineup, but insert Stammler for Leitch. Leitch is serviceable IMO, but Stammler is too valuable to start on the bench. Also, how about a 4-3-3 with Magee up top with Kandji and JPA?

Ignoring international dates, to me, is an insult to the average football fans intelligence. Basically, MLS feels the US fan wouldn’t understand nor accept an interruption in the middle of their season, since no other league does this. Guys, we can handle it. Believe me.

And as far as any youngster, its tough to judge strictly on stats. Sure, he has been touted as the best thing since the infamous sliced bread, but it takes time for a kid to actually learn the game. Soccer is such a chess match, and youngsters would rather play HALO. Get me?

I think the starting 11 will certainly be more exciting to watch, but this is really a raw deal not breaking for the international dates. And Dave, whats your opinion on Kassell so far – I haven’t seen him play but I’m just looking at his stats – 1 goal, 5 assists in 11 games. Seems a little short of the hype. Your thoughts?
