I ask myself the same question. From what I've read on the boards at Metrofanatic.com, this something that the old fans who consider themselves "hardcore" continue to do from when RB first took over. I believe it started as a form of protest against RB and their in your face marketing style. I also read some posts more recently in which people were saying that they should start using "Red Bull" in all of the songs and chants going forward. I could be wrong and this is not my opinion at all, I just read this on the threads. Red Bull has been very good to us of late and I honestly believe they're going to continue to do good by us going forward, that being said we should no longer use "Metro" in our chants and give RB the respect they've earned.

Why do red bull chants have metro still in it? Like i know they love their roots but why do they still chant we love you, follow, we support the metros. Cant we say red bulls instead?
