as a barca fan who rarely watches NY unless they’re playing against my MLS team, i’ve gotta say I was impressed by Rojas. No one else really but him.

And heck yeah Xavi is beast. Iniesta is kind of my personal hero but Xavi comes dag close.

And Xavi is a beast brother. Watching him tear up the field with passes that had NO RIGHT making it – wow. He really knocked my friggin socks off.

I guess you can’t fault our guys at all. You’re basically playing a good chunk of the spanish national team and the top quality players from around the world. I couldn’t guard Eto’ if he had both legs tied together.

Dude you should make fun! It was hilarious! =) And I am sure your TV set gave you the same response.

I neglected to mention about last night – Chris Leitch was playing pretty damned spirited footie! He got in Henrys face a few times, was cutting off passes, finding the very few open spaces available – besides the 2-3 times he got cut up and looked silly, good game for him. But personally? I think all flanks were flooded with that attack. Super impressive performance.

Anybody else see how weak the Left side looked last night? Every Barca run started down their right flank. Granted this is one of the best clubs in the world (and a personal favorite of mine–I cheered for every goal–and got my roommate to chant USA! USA! when RBNY scored their first).

Anybody else think that Barca is PISSED about their semi-final lost to ManYoo?

Also Dave: I never made fun of you for your sweet TiTi interview. I actually interviewed him last night as well, I was just yelling at the TV at the bar, but the result was the same (Yeah…I’m still jealous).
