The End Of The Osorio Era?
By: Dave Martinez | July 7th, 2009That was Juan Carlos Osorio after the FC Dallas game, and by all accounts, it looks like he had more on his mind than yet another loss.
Maybe this weeks summit in Austria is what weighed so heavily on him.
SBI reports Jeff Agoos and Erik Stover have been summoned to Austria to meet with Red Bull brass to explain the mess that has been the 2009 season. And it looks like heads will roll for these failures.
This, along with the Beckham game, will surely make for a circus atmosphere the next two weeks. A change can come as early as this week.
You all know how I have felt about this. But sound off. Should Osorio get the ax? Or do more heads need to roll? Will Osorio even have a job after this meet and greet? Share your thoughts people!

JCO didn’t make the trip which i find interesting, they’re probibly talking about where the team can go without him as coach. One thing i don’t like about this whole thing is that agoos made the trip with stover instead of staying home with JCO, which means he will probibly keep his job. I think Stover is good guy, i think he is the best person to manage a stadium, but i’m hoping that next year he can have his own new position as a stadium manager and a new general manager can be brought in that knows the soccer world. Hopefully something big happens at this meeting (fingers crossed).

Fire Osorio this week. Fire Agoos end of season. Sign Academy Players. Sign another DP (Wishful thinking for me- Henry). And start new stadium off right.

Why would anyone want to see some team like Barcelona or Real Madrid come in and kick our ass like they have the last couple of years? I’ve always found it to be extremely demoralizing. Sorry to say it, JCO has got to go. 2 freakin’ wins? C’mon! If the players just decided amongst themselves who would start and how they would play, they would win more than 2 games.

I dont want him fired but I cnat defend him beyond saying that I think some of the players hes brought in are exciting and wouldnt be here without him.
Also I dont think firing him will improve the team. Overall they play competitive football but routinely take naps on defense and allow shameful goals. ALso our service to Angel, who has himself been mediocre this year, has been abysmal.
This team needs better defenders and midfielders and coaches are just the easiest to scapegoat
that said Osario’s coaching hasnt been a bright spot either
