With the way the tournament is now set up, the groups A-D are the ones you want to avoid, just based on the teams there in. Of course, the other side E-H have Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Villareal, but come on, that doesnt stack up against AC Milan, Inter, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors, Sao Paolo . . . damn. I cant wait.

BTW, tenative post for tonite or early tommorrow will feature the date of this tournament. I will email you all or leave you a message on LIVE with a friend request.

    A few questions:

In regards to #5, why not goal differential? Even if it’s not first tiebreaker it would be better to use that than a coin flip.

And #7, Is their a tourney setting on xbox live where if we tied over two legs it would automatically go into extra time and then pk’s?

Also, is gambling permitted? if so, any takers in my group (Sevilla, Toulouse, Villareal)

lol what are the gambling laws?

Anyhow, I will make the change for rule 5, it should be a coin flip after differential. You are right.

#7 is a possibility I should have an answer for later tommorrow. I am working on how we will format this tournament, keep track, post scores, weekly reports – the whole nine.

The main option now is making an individual online league per group A-h, winners shall advance. Thats when I will contact everyone and get the one on ones going.

Keep the opinions coming! I am very flexible in adjusting this.

I forgot about this one but how about aggregate, it would really give another dimension to being the home team and the away team.
