I am currently in "adoring" mode, till he pisses me off again. He was described by an anonymous teammate last year as having a "melon énorme" and the description definitely fits. And yet occasionally he can be so endearing, as in Saturday's France-Faroe Island games when he was so good to the younger players when they scored. He's not the player he once was, but he'd still make hash out of most MLS defenses. And as of today he's the all-time leading scorer for France. And oh. That accent. I mean...um...yeah.
