I knew it was coming and I still pooped 'em !

Gunner here too. Went to Arsenal v Birmingham (3-1) at Emirates in October. So for Henry to be a RBNY, what a sight. And in red again.

Pico, I was def. one of those fans

This is awesome.. Finally we have Henry!! I hope we can get a midfielder ASAP.. because we need somebody to assist our upgrade forward line!!

I am just wondering how many RB fans had to change their underwear after seeing the text message this morning...

    Cheers

As a Spurs and RBNY supporter this is all very exciting and confusing for me. Who do I root for on the 22nd? Which jersey do I wear? If I wear my Tottenham jersey, do I cheer for Henry if he scores? If I wear my RBNY jersey, do I cheer if Crouchy scores? My head hurts just thinking about it...
  • second 3rd lol. i stink. JUST THIRD!
  • Here is a wild rumor I was just sent via e-mail, but I don't believe it in the least bit; there will be 2 DP's announced tomorrow. Take that with a minuscule grain of salt. Like tiny minuscule.

But who knows Bsa. I would expect that one giant signing like Henry will create the buzz RBNY is looking for without saturating future signings. They have just bought themselves a week or two's worth of scouring and negotiation for that second 3rd, elusive DP.

So Dave are the Red Bulls now going to go after their 3rd DP quickly? Or are they going to enjoy Henry's signing for a while?
  • Weston - I was WAITING for someone to say that! I found it a LOL moment too.
  • As a long time Les Bleus fan (blog on France-World Cup blog) I'm thrilled Henry has chosen to join Red Bulls. I cant wait to see him and the rest of the team play together. As a Marseille supporter (blog on Offside-OM), Im just glad he didnt return to his Paris roots and join PSG. At least this is a team I can support!

Im buying my jersey this morning!
  • haha i love how it says "importance: low"
  • Rob
Is it ok to cry? =)

    Larry > Paul the Octopus
  • Oli - alot of people ask. And honestly? No. There is such a mix in cultures in NYC and NJ that no one denomination clearly stands out.

Larry - I never questioned you for a minute. Cheers brother.

I'm not a big Red Bull fan, but it's good to see this going through, not least because I wanted him out of Barca.

Just out of interest...do you guys have a big fan base among the Irish population in NYC?
  • Larry
read my old posts, was i right or was i right? i was hoping it would be the 25, but it does make more sense for the 22 against spurs. guess i will watch it on TV. They better play him on the 25 too. I am thinking he plays 25 30 minutes v spurs and then starts the 25 and plays 60 to 70 to get him fit for the MLS games.

I agree Shane. That was a great idea by Red Bull. It shows that they really have the fans in mind.

I can't think of a better way to wake up in the morning, than to that text we got. I can not wait till the 22nd now!!!
