TiTi Henry – The Perfect Wedding Gift
By: Dave Martinez | October 18th, 2009
Yes, I am a newly married man, and like many, I was wondering when the Red Bull organization would send me a gift for the momentous occasion. Well, here is a gift that I would willingly wait for, no matter how long it takes to receive it.
The Mail Online from England is reporting that Thierry Henry, Arsenal great and French legend, may be willing to choose Red Bull New York over a move to Manchester City.
Yes. You read that correctly. And various sources are claiming that he will be in Red Bull uniform after World Cup.
This rumor doesn’t seem as far fetched as Ronaldo and the like that are usually linked to this club, partially because he always states his desire to go stateside. And if Angel sticks around (and why wouldn’t he? I mean, leaving 2009 aside of course .. . . . ), you are talking about one of the most lethal combination’s this league has ever seen.
Can this actually be? Red Bull Arena opening with Henry at the helm? Or is this just a ploy from the Henry camp as to not be sent to Citeh? Share your thoughts.

Wow. Just…wow. I could get behind a rumor like this.
And congrats on the nuptials! You old married man, you. (Assuming Facebook photos tell the true story, she is adorable and you are a lucky man.)

Honestly, after the years of rumours, if Henry DOESN’T come to New Jersey, I will label him as the biggest cock tease ever.

Red Bull has disappointed me this year.. I had hope in Osorio and he just couldnt get the job done.. Now if Henry comes, I will once again be an extremely happy RBNY fan
And Congratulations on getting married Dave, Good Luck to You GuysPosted from

Ok, Angel and Henry would be the best combo this league ever saw but I cant help but feel that Henry has lost his passion, his step and his skill. he looks horrible for Barca and that team should be the most enjoyable thing in the universe for a player. He looks selfish and poor IMO
that said, any transfer of talent to this team would be very welcome. not to mention the respect we could finally get from the refs

Last season for them was incredible to watch. Sheer poetry.
This year they have made some big adjustments and the whole team is feeling it.
It would be a dream to have Henry play for us and I hope it comes true.Congratulations Dave!

DM, when I mentioned to Stammler that I never wrote a bad thing about him in the offsides, he had no clue what that was…he then asked the nearby employees who told him who you were in a sort of..how can I describe it..like a some lunatic guy who writes a blog..he started laughing and said, huh..never heard of it…I find that odd he has no clue about probably the most popular blog of NYRB.

When I met him, I said, oh, you’re probably the only player I never said a bad word on the Red Bulls offside blog..and he was miffed by that, never heard of it. He’s cool guy though, was able to joke around with him a lot and he asked some questions etc…OUT.
