kaka – I would love that to happen, but he will most likley start with Recreativo and move his way up. Playin time is needed, and a second place Villarreal may not be the place to do it, not right away at least.

His loan to Huelva makes the most sense.

Oh Jozy Jozy. He has scored so many different kinds of goals in his time in the MLS, and I’ve had a great time watching him at Giant Stadium.

I wonder what kind of striker he will really bloom into. My guess (going back to the U-20 world cup) is he’ll become a target man for quality crosses & a real fox-in-the-box goal poacher (ala Trezeguet). The kid has moves, and is strong, but he doesss lack pace.

And I think Jozy would do just fine at Villareal to be hoenst. We see time, and time again that Jozy becomes better, when he is around other better players. Usually he fades out when his team is slacking, or when JPA is out.

And for all the talk of his lethargic attitude all season, now we know – he was trying to stay injury free for this deal.

I just hope he plays against Argentina so i can see his possible last NY hurrah.

Now moving on to the Left footed defender you’re talking about, does Alejandro Cichero ring any bells? Last thing I heard was that JCO was trying to get him but met some barriers set up by Dvo. Italia, but now that the Clausura’s over…

I’d love to have two Vinotintos in the RB squad (as long as they perform adequately of course).

I think this pending deal has been a weight on Joze all season so far. Hes been a shade of his former self.

That said hes still one of the top young players, if not the top, in the MLS.

Id be shocked if this deal did anything but make Jozy and the owners rich and make the fans sad, bored and miserable.

oh man how awesome for him. the huelva thing would be PERFECT for him. gets to play in the top flight of spain and we get to see what he’s really made of. now if i could just have the option of getting to actually watch la liga on tv everything would be gravy.
