Watching TFC / Red Bulls? Comment Away!
By: Dave Martinez | October 4th, 2008
Hey everyone,
I will be at the game tonite, so don’t expect my usual running commentary. But for those that would like to use this as the games forum, feel free to comment on the action.
While we wait for the game, here is some stuff to look out for tonight:
MATCH UPS TO WATCH:
Amado Guevara v. Juan Pietravallo
Marvell Wynne v. Jorge Rojas
HAPPENINGS
Will Dave Van Den Bergh make a cameo off the bench?
Will Mbuta and Kandji find themselves in the starting 11?
Will the Red Bulls be able to solidify their playoff position?
So, I will rely on y’all to do my job for me! If not, its ok – my reviews are pretty thorough!
Take care everyone. Enjoy the game. I look forward to the commentary.

Cichero is killing us. His confidence is going to drop and have a negative effect on this team as we make a run or the playoffs. Osorio will need to make a change with him for the next few matches until he figures out how to turn it around.

1. Our three mid-season acquisitions stunk up the field tonight
2. Leitch was surprisingly solid against Ricketts
3. Conway could have made the save on Ibrahim
4. P.S. any relation to Abbe???
5. Cichero got was at fault on all three goals… again. First goal of course, second goal (as Messing said) he did not need to be so far up the field when we already had angel and dvdb to be the dummies, and third goal he lost ibrahim on the crossUgh…
This blows!
Not to mention my fantasy team was banking on 3 red bull player and osorio.
But that’s the least of my concerns right now. My concern is that houston beats colorado

This season is over. What is the state of the team’s finances? Are they still losing big money? Can we afford to get rid of half the team and bring in players that can actually play next year?

Chris – that was part of the problem. This team hasnt had a consistent lineup on the field for more than 2 years now. I know injuries have been a factor, but my goodness, these wrinkles in the lineup week in and out have to effect chemistry some, right?
JG – your on point. What can I say?
And Rob – your comments were all I can think about tonite with Cichero. Really Gaffe – a – Licious.
