Alert! Alert! The Schedule is Out!

At last, the full 2007 schedule has been revealed. And, just so you don’t have to go look: The LA Beckhams Galaxy are coming to town August 18, so we have lots of time to plan clever, mean signs for Beckham’s benefit. Ooooh or for Landon Donovan’s! Ok, I’m going to concentrate on coming up with things to yell at Landon; you guys work on annoying Beckham. Something about “strip Scrabble,” maybe, or involving the word “metatarsal.” Or “penalty spot” — that should freak him out or, at the very least, prompt him to kick the ball straight up in the air.
Beckham aside, we open April 7 at Columbus, and come home for the first time (as I think we knew) on April 15 against Dallas; the last home game is October 13 against KC. In other news, New England is in town July 14 and September 22, while DC will be here in July 22, right after the all-star break.
So that makes … only 53 (long, cold) days left to wait before the season begins.
