Fleet Week: Red Bulls v. Navy on the Intrepid!

This is the time of year in New York affectionately called Fleet Week, where our Navy and military personnel come back home for a break from the action. It also happens to be the time of year that I have to roll my fiancee’s tongue back into her mouth as she stares at young guys dressed like Popeye – but that is another story.

The Red Bulls are once again greasing that marketing wheel with an exciting showdown this week on the ship deck of the historical Intrepid Museum. The Bulls will be given wings for sure as they face off against the US Navy, Coast Guard and other military personnel atop of the old battleship! 6 v. 6 matches will be played throughout. And considering all the Bulls experience with playing on a hard surface, this game will most likely tip there way. And, hey, you never know; the metal of the Intrepid may possibly be more forgiving that the concrete of Giants Stadium.
