Glad to see the Sounder players treated "the cup" with great respect. It's a trophy to be proud of. (Of course, not as good as the western conference trophy :-) )

I always say a DC loss is almost as sweet as a Red Bulls win. lol At the same time it stings to see a first year team take home some hardware while we try to figure out which end is up year after year. Let's face it, the MLS Cup final was a total fluke. We sucked all season and made a timely run in the playoffs. Looking at Seattle with Montero up front, Alonso in the middle and Hurtado in the back makes me wonder if our front office has any idea what they're doing. Why didn't we sign these guys or guys like them. Instead we get Pacheco and an unfit Walter Garcia.
