First off Id like to let you know how very much I appreciate the tone of this post.

Any posting filled with this level of remorseless loathing for the city of brotherly scum is a posting I can get behind!

As far as the MLS and rivalry goes i have to agree that any additional heat in the arctic winter of MLS is an improvement.

A question I cant help but raise is if there is enough talent to sustain another franchise. Also, with the stupid MLS rules, this will only add to the difficulty in obtaining players because of that “I saw him first” rule in the MLS.

But anything that offers this league more fans and more passion is a good thing. Especially if it can be at the emotional cost of the folks from Phili.

It’ll be nice to beat up on them some. Heres hoping that franchise happens

He was, and I think I alluded to it. There really hasnt been anything since “the threat.” I would really hate for a potential rival to suddenly be taken off the map. I’ve already started to grow a bit of hate for em, what with their cool Sons of Ben logo and all . . .

I’ve heard some people speculate that he only made those comments because the date of the ruling on the tax free zone was drawing near. As if he was bluffing to try to get the city to give in.
