I just wish there was a better picture of the “Don’t tread on me” banner so i could make it my background on my computer.

i love the one in the fan section man – great pic. Though I would love the Dont Tread Banner from an upperdeck view on the opponents side. That would be a great one.

Sorry Sean, best I could do on the banner shot. I’m surprised there are no other shots of it from other sections!

Derek – I think its because the section across from 101 was all Argie – they probably didnt get it lol

I can’t stress enough the soccer-boner I get from that banner.
…actually that visual might have done it.

Well I mean from midfield upper deck at least. I’ve seen just one, but I when I try to enlarge it, it gets fuzzy, oh well. Funny you say that because my friend got an extra ticket…and wound up sitting in the Argentina supporters section, haha

Derek – I am a reknown Argie at this point, and i decided to go neutral – though the Argie crowd was SUPER polite and nice, I didnt want to take the chance of a beer shower with my US gear on and my father present lol.

BMatt – Dont Tread on Me Jerseys are always soccer-boner worthy. Best unofficial emblem that should be official ever.

Does anybody know if they only put down the real grass for this game? I watched a few Red Bull games a few weeks back and they were playing on turf. I am guessing maybe they put down the grass for the remainder of the MLS season. And the Supercoppa that will be played there in August.

Sean, real grass was laid down friday after the thursday night redbulls game. It was crap like it always is. lot of dead spots and the seams were obvious and the grass was easy to pull up. And NO it is not for the rest of the season. grass has been removed on monday. Only lay down grass for big games.

I wouldn’t expect to see grass until August when Red bulls play barcelona
