Mathis did look extremely active and very motivated. But boy did the announcer make an astute comment in the first 5 minutes when he mentioned that the turf at Rice-Eccles is the fastest field in the league...and it affected our central defense the whole game. They had a tough time because RSL was trying to play some long, bouncy balls to their forwards and our central defense didn't react too well. ...and every game that I see RSL play shows what a great job Nike has done at pumping Freddy Adu. He's totally overrated. The Red Bulls are definitely entertaining! Mathis did look extremely active and very motivated.
