I also agree with kofix5 in regards to Johnson. That guy has talent. If he’s gotten red carded alot it’s because of the ridiculous reffing in this league. WTF was he carded for on Saturady?! The fact that no KC player was is a joke.

Wow. I guess I’m in the minortiy here. I thought the guy had no heart and wasn’t that good. His free kicks and crosses were bad. He went up to attack and never came back to defend leaving us extremely vulnerable to counters on his side. Carlos De Los Cobos didn’t start him in WCQ games not because of inactivity, they’re not Brazil, if you have a good player you play him no matter what if you have a limited talent pool. He just isn’t playing well. Borman might not be as talented but he works hard and plays the position as well as Pacheco did.

Pacheco is a really good player. He should not have been let go so easily but its possible he’d rather be in El Salvador anyway. Osorio’s coaching stunk so bad, I think it affected Pacheco’s perfomance in games. I saw him go from looking for a target to lay his cross on to just kicking it down field without caring what happened. Not a great trait its true but that’s what you get with bad coaching. I think Richie could use him but if the kid’s not fired up to play here anymore then let him go.

BTW—Carlos Johnson is a very effective right back who has attacking power, solid skill on the ball on turf, and has a great cross. His skills on turf are better than anyone else on the field. He is quality.

Anyone who thinks he gets a red card every game probably thinks Cepero will score another goal.

why did they let him go? well let’s see, after osorio he had zero playing time, and it also meant he was loosing playing time with the national team due to inactivity. he deserved better than this, and frankly i am pissed. i, as a salvadorean realize he could have done better, but there is far worse players on this team that should of been gone a long time ago. he decided to leave because he realized all this,this was anounced a week ago in el salvador by the way, it was bound to happen.

Of all the JCO signings he was the only one released prematurely. I think there was some potential for him to succeed but for whatever reason RNBY did not feel the same way. We know the dude can play as seen in some of his performances for El Salv. It’s difficult to get a true gauge on a player who played in the chaotic system JCO was implementing the past year, maybe with some consistency he might have been able to shine some more.

IMO a bit more faith, time, and patience was needed with Pacheco. When the ability is there you shouldn’t give up on it.
