The whole game was just depressing. And it hurts me to say this, but if Beckham plays like he has been lately for Real (when he's not suspended), he's going to turn the league on its head. I hope he comes down to earth before he gets stateside. I'm starting to think a team blowing its wad on a forward is not the best use of money/places. Beckham's position and desire to play in center as well as on the right may mean he WILL be the most influential player on the field this season, as well as off it.
