Van den Bergh with the Other Woman

By: Dave Martinez | January 23rd, 2009

Feel my pain, and witness Dave Van den Bergh, wearing similar colors to the Red Bulls training outfit, but somehow, representing a different team. This seems wrong.

*Thanks to the folks over at FC Dallas TV for the link. Much appreciated.

Just because I can see the merits in the trade doesn’t mean I am 100% down. DVB is the man. How can you not feel funny seeing him in another jersey?

Besides, there wasn’t much that could be done since he requested the trade.

    Though I contradict myself, I think there is some logic there . . . somewhere . . .

    Hey,
We are glad to have DVB down here in Dallas. We think he may a little old and maybe have requested this trade because he is planning on retiring here – where it has was in the 70’s and 80’s this week.
The concern is the loss of Oduro. He certainly has great potential. Don’t be fooled by his stats. Had the coach not taken a disliking too him he would have had a lot more than 5 goals. Hard to expect much when you sit a guy down and put him in the 90th minute of a games. He brings a new dimension to the game – his speed is breath taking ! Take care of our Birdman – we are going to miss him !
