Vinotinto Jorge Rojas back in the Picture?
By: Dave Martinez | June 2nd, 2008Univision is reporting Jorge Ramos, Vinotinto (Venezuelan National Team) veteran, with 76 caps to his name, will be a Red Bull soon.
Left sided player? Check.
Can play midfield, or defender, possibly freeing Van Den Bergh to play some CAM? Check.
A respectable veteran presence? Check.
This could be a big one for the Bulls, as their depth was exposed for the calamity it is against the hapless Dynamo. Any body with skill helps.

Well he should come by cheaper this time, given that he’s a free agent now. He was one, if not the best player in the Vzla-Hoduras match(yawn) last saturday.

You caught that yawnfest?
Not for nothing, but with now 77 caps to his name, he is consistantly named one of the if not THE best player on the vinotinto squad

Just watched the video and here are some of the key points of what he said.
-Deal should be done by today (Mon 6/2)
-Doesn’t think of the MLS as his retirement league and mentioned the importance of the league in the development and triumphs of the US’ National Team
-Excited about being under JCO
-Will play his best to remain relevant to the National Team’s Manager.

Yeah the game was horrible and the field didn’t help, plus I think most players were playing a bit too cautious because they didn’t want to miss the Brazil match or the Uruguay game and there were some key players missing who were playing the Clausura final.

I think its insane that he is speaking as if he is already here, but not a peep of a confirmation out there.
btw – thanks Gabe – I should have translated the video – but forgot to completely. Good looks!
